PTC Asia: VMC gets loads of visitors in Shanghai
Almost 100,000 visitors at PTC COMVAC 2017, +26% compared to the last edition
VMC has taken part in PTC Asia, one of the most important fairs in the industrial sector, which took place in Shanghai from 31st October to 3rd November.
Compressed air was one of the main focuses of this much awaited event in China, which this year registered a considerable increase of visitor turnout.
An amazing attendance at ComVac Asia, where the increase reached +26%, with professional operators attendance close to 100,000.
Andrea Zaccaria, VMC East Asia General Manager, comments: “I have been to many editions and this one has been overall the one with the highest turnout, thanks to a domestic economic recovery”.
In the first two days of the fair, traditionally the best ones, there were so many visiting professionals at our stand that we had to reprint our brochures. The demand was far beyond our expectations and we are very pleased with this”.
Such a high turnout was determined undoubtedly by the commitment and the good work carried out by the new sales team, supported by the colleagues of the other VMC departments. A result that was possible also thanks to good teamwork and the harmonious atmosphere that was established among employees and that, indirectly, was conveyed to visitors during the fair days.
We must say that the stand’s design and strategic position also benefited VMC: the images of Vicenza and the clear reference to the “Made in Italy” production of the company continuously attracted professionals of this sector, who published their selfies on Chinese social media.
There was also a relevant increase of foreign attendees, a testament to the fact that more and more international companies are interested in our products “made in China”, the quality of which is very high and ideal for the western markets. We had requests from India, Eastern Europe and Australia. Our long-standing customers ITM Korea and PUMA TAIWAN also visited our stand.
“We received many news contacts and the chance of meeting many of our regular customers. We are very pleased about this investment” concludes Zaccaria.
In professionals’ imagination VMC is definitely becoming a provider of solutions for air compressors and no longer a mere supplier of components. To this day, professionals get in touch with VMC and demand complex niche products, like the Pack Smart integrated system or the innovative V110+Generator solution.
Pack Smart V60B is an evergreen product for this sector, and even this year it raised the interest of compressor builders.
V110G air-end with Generator replicated the success it achieved at ComVac Hannover this year: literally everyone was interested in the new application designed by VMC.
