VMC首个专利进气阀样品可从油气桶（D）提取空气并仅用一个电磁阀控制进气阀打开（A）和关闭（Ｃ）。在这之前，进气阀需要二个电磁阀执行上述的动作。

设计的突破允许少安装一个关键件，基于维修方面，维修次数相应减少；基于空滤前空气吸入，保持内部的清洁；况且大大降低了项目的总成本。
